Endotoxin/LPS Is a Major Driver of Blood Clotting, Sepsis, Heart Attacks, and Strokes

STORy at-a-glance

  • Endotoxin, a toxic molecule released by bacteria in your gut, enters your bloodstream and directly triggers blood clot formation — even in people with no signs of infection or heart disease
  • Researchers have shown that certain bacterial types, such as E. coli, are especially effective at setting off your body’s clotting response, mimicking what happens during sepsis and other life-threatening events
  • Everyday habits that weaken your gut barrier — including eating seed oils, ultraprocessed foods, and alcohol, or living under chronic stress — make endotoxin exposure common, keeping your blood in a “primed” state to clot
  • Chronic, low-grade exposure to bacterial toxins links gut health to cardiovascular problems, explaining why heart attacks, strokes, and clotting disorders often strike people who appear healthy
  • Supporting your gut with easy-to-digest foods, antioxidants like niacinamide and vitamin E, and natural binders such as raw carrot salad or activated charcoal helps neutralize endotoxin and keep your blood flowing freely

Blood clots are meant to save your life — not threaten it. Yet when your body’s natural repair system misfires, the results are often catastrophic. Clots that form inside healthy vessels block oxygen to vital organs, causing strokes, heart attacks, and tissue damage that often strike without warning. What’s more troubling is that these events are rising among people with no classic risk factors like obesity, suggesting that something deeper is driving the body’s clotting machinery into overdrive.

                   DRUG vs SUPPLEMENTS

                                       ARE THEY THE SAME?

Before I enter into my discussion about the title of this blog, I would like to provide the reason for my deciding to post it.

Marcia has developed an Anxiety Syndrome a few months ago. She's undergoing counseling. Since this is our time to head for California for the winter, she's decided to stay in Alaska and finish her road to recovery.

The counselor suggested that we go to a hospital for Physical and Psychological evaluations.

This blog relates my opinion of what transpired at those evaluations.

There wasn't a hint of anything Psychological about the visit!

I was enthused about going for two reasons. The first was to please Marcia and eliminate the stress to her, if I declined. The other was that I developed inner ear positional Vertigo a month or so ago. I was curious to find out what the medical society could do for treating it. I had already purchased supplements for the treatment. They weren't working, a waste of money.

I am very fortunate to be healthier than most men in the 90 year old  bracket. I asked the doctor if she had seen many men, my age, in my healthy condition? She responded, "Not many!"

I had brought my tray of supplements that I take daily. I was quite anxious to see what her deaction would be. My thought was how excited I would be if the situation were reversed.

I got my answer in spades! She presented me with her appraisal of the meeting that we just had.

"Mr. Milette, You are taking too many of these pills!"  She pointed, with a finger making a circular motion, over my tray of supplements.

I was shocked! However, I understood the type of doctor with which I was dealing. She knew nothing about NUTRITION. The curse of so many doctors who treat the symptoms and fail to cure the cause.

Doctors call their drugs PILLS. We, who believe in NUTRITION, call ours SUPPLEMENTS, which aid in the proper treatment of the body's cellular structure.

I did however get an answer to my Vertigo problem. I had heard from a friend who had had Vertigo and used exercises to recover from it.

Here's the link for you to use to get the exercises that you need to cure yourself. I was amazed, I saw relef of my Vertigo after the second  day of doing the exercises twice a day.

It's called: Epley Maneuver at Home  for Vertigo: Exercises

What is the Epley ManeuverTWhat is the Epley Maneuver?

The Epley maneuver is designed to reposition calcium crystals
in the inner ear that cause vertigo. It involves series of specific
head and body movements that can help relieve the spinning
sensation associated with BPPV. This maneuver is safe and
can be performed at home after consulting with healthcare
provider.

Steps to Perform the Epley Maneuver

  1. Start PositionSit on the edge of your bed or flat surface with your legs extended in front of you. Make sure you have enough
  2. space to lie back comfortably.
  3. Turn Your HeadTurn your head 45 degrees toward the side
  4. that causes the most vertigo (the affected ear).
  5. Lie BackQuickly lie back on your back with your shoulders on
  6. the pillow and your head tilted back slightly (about 30 degrees).
  7. Hold this position for at least 30 seconds or until any vertigo stops.
  8. Turn Your HeadWithout raising your head, turn your head 90
  9. degrees to the opposite side (the unaffected ear) and hold for
  10. another 30 seconds.
  11. Roll OverRoll your body onto the side of the unaffected ear
  12. while keeping your head turned. Hold this position for another
  13. 30 seconds.
  14. Sit UpFinally, sit up slowly while keeping your head upright.
  15. You can remain seated for few minutes to ensure stability
  16. before standing up.

Frequency of the Maneuver

  • It is generally recommended to perform the Epley maneuver
  • two to three times a  day until you go 24 hours without
  • vertigo

?

The Epley maneuver is designed to reposition calcium crystals in the inner ear that cause vertigo. It involves a series of specific head and body movements that can help relieve the spinning sensation associated with BPPV. This maneuver is safe and can be performed at home after consulting with a healthcare provider.

Historical Rise of Cancer and Dietary Linoleic Acid —

 Mechanisms and Therapeutic Strategies

Story at-a-glance

  • Cancer now affects 30% to 50% of Americans, a massive increase from just 5% in 1900, reflecting how modern diets and lifestyles have reshaped your body’s internal terrain
  • Excess linoleic acid (LA) from seed oils triggers toxic byproducts, chronic inflammation, and mitochondrial breakdown, all of which weaken your body’s defenses and fuel tumor growth
  • Lowering LA intake from 7% to around 2% to 3% of daily calories has been shown to cut oxidative stress markers by 20% in as little as 12 weeks, giving your body a chance to recover
  • A four-phase terrain restoration strategy uses seed oil elimination, staged carbohydrate reintroduction, gradual fiber restoration, and metabolic supports like intermittent fasting and exercise to rebuild resilience
  • Simple daily steps — avoiding seed oils, rebuilding gut health, supporting mitochondria through movement and sleep, and tracking progress — give you control over your risk and long-term health.

Cognitive Challenges Have Risen Sharply Among Younger Americans

Story at-a-glance

  • Cognitive problems like memory loss, poor focus, and brain fog are rising sharply among younger adults, nearly doubling between 2013 and 2023
  • Lifestyle and metabolic factors — such as poor diet, stress, sleep disruption, and exposure to seed oils and environmental toxins — are likely fueling this decline in brain health
  • Chronic conditions like high blood pressure and diabetes dramatically increase the risk of cognitive disability by damaging blood vessels, reducing brain oxygen, and driving inflammation
  • Improving gut health, restoring metabolic energy, and managing daily stress through light exposure, breathing, and balanced nutrition are key to protecting your brain
  • Your brain’s decline is not inevitable; by eliminating root causes and building daily recovery habits, you can restore focus, memory, and mental clarity at any age.

Butyrate's Impact on Your Immune System

This is such an important finding; research the matter. I think the Sodium Butyrate is probably the better choice than the Calcium Butyrate.  As I said, research it.

Story at-a-glance

  • Butyrate, a short-chain fatty acid produced when gut bacteria ferment dietary fiber, serves as both an energy source for colon cells and an important signaling molecule for immune regulation
  • By inhibiting histone deacetylases (HDAC) and suppressing the NF-ΞΊB pathway, butyrate acts as a powerful anti-inflammatory agent, helping prevent chronic inflammation that contributes to various diseases
  • Butyrate promotes regulatory T cell development while modulating other immune cells, helping maintain immune tolerance and preventing autoimmune responses while supporting balanced immune function
  • Butyrate plays a significant role in managing chronic diseases like IBD, multiple sclerosis and Type 2 diabetes by reducing inflammation and supporting gut barrier function
  • Emerging research suggests that butyrate influences brain health by modulating the gut-brain axis; it reduces neuroinflammation and supports cognitive function, and plays a supporting role in the prevention of neurological disorders like Alzheimer's disease and depression.

Vitamins K and A Aid Brain Health

Story at-a-glance

  • Researchers created vitamin K analogues that cross the blood-brain barrier more effectively, which eventually turn into the bioactive form, menaquinone-4 (MK-4)
  • Higher levels of MK-4 in brain tissue correlate with 17% to 20% lower dementia risk and reduced Alzheimer's-related brain damage
  • Vitamin A's active form, retinoic acid, enhances synaptic plasticity and memory formation, with deficiencies linked to cognitive impairment and neuropsychiatric disorders
  • Both vitamin K and retinoic acid signaling naturally decrease with aging, contributing to reduced neurogenesis and weakened memory circuits in older adults
  • Consume K2-rich fermented foods, pair with healthy fats for absorption, combine with vitamin D3 and magnesium, and include vitamin A sources like leafy greens.

Understanding Butyrate

The Key to Optimal Health and Well-Being

Story at-a-glance

  • Butyrate is a short-chain fatty acid produced by gut bacteria when they ferment fiber, serving as the primary energy source for colon cells and maintaining gut barrier strength
  • Healthy butyrate levels support weight management, blood sugar control, and brain health, with studies linking butyrate-producing bacteria to reduced Alzheimer's risk and lower cancer risk
  • A diverse diet rich in various fiber sources, including fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, promotes butyrate production, but increases should be gradual if your gut health is compromised
  • The gut barrier weakens with insufficient butyrate, allowing undigested food, bacteria, and toxins to enter your bloodstream, triggering systemic inflammation and widespread health problems
  • Gradually increasing fiber intake and reducing mitochondrial toxins for increased cellular energy supports gut health and beneficial gut microbes, enhancing butyrate production and overall health

Beta-Blockers Are Useless,

and

Sometimes Risky, for Most Cardiac Patients

Story at-a-glance

  • Beta-blockers offer no survival benefit for most heart attack patients with normal heart function, even though they’re still widely prescribed

  • Women face higher risks on beta-blockers, including nearly double the risk of death when given higher doses, while men show no measurable harm or benefit
  • Side effects such as fatigue, dizziness, depression, and sexual dysfunction often burden patients without providing meaningful protection
  • The real root of heart disease lies in damaged mitochondria, which are overwhelmed by linoleic acid (LA) from vegetable oils found in most processed foods
  • You can protect your heart by reducing LA, eating the right kinds of carbohydrates, walking daily, getting safe sunlight, and tracking your HOMA-IR score.

A LOOK INTO THE PAST
When I was seventeen I enlisted into the navy. They called it a kiddy cruise. You go in when you're 17, you get discharged on the 21st day of your birthday.
I left Lowell, MA and headed to Norfolk Naval base in Virginia.
I originally wanted to be on submarines; however the navy put me on a destroyer, whos main purpose was to hunt and destroy enemy submarines! Go figure??
We shipped out of Norfolk and headed east to spend some time doing NATO maneuvers. On the return trip back home, We visited ports from Greenland to the Mediterranean. We were gone for three months.πŸ˜‰
Here I was at 18, doing the unimaginable; I LOVED IT.πŸ˜ƒ
When we stopped in Amsterdam, I bought a pair of their wooden shoes, they fascinated me.πŸ˜‰
I wound up leaving them with my mother, when I went home for a visit.
When my mother passed , Marcia and I went back east to clear things out of her apartment. There were the shoes!πŸ˜€
Now they are on a shelf in the garage where I see them frequently. Today, I thought that I'd share this memorable look into the past.
Life has been good, all 90 years + 7 months of it.πŸ˜‰

                                                     MARRIED LIFE

             The "I DO"πŸ’“ & The "I DON'T"πŸ’˜

               WHERE DOES                               YOURS FIT IN?

THE BIGGEST DETERMINOR IS LOVEπŸ’“. You meet a young person that strikes you in a manner that is completely new to you. You become emotionally INVOLVED,πŸ’“ nothing else COMMANDS your mind, heart, body and soul.

As the relationship flourishes you begin thinking about the INNEVITABLE MARRIAGE!πŸ’•πŸ’—πŸ’– The FLESH GIVES WAY TO THE BRAIN. Or you might say that two forces unite as a purpose to ASK THE BIG QUESTION.

"WILL YOU MARRY ME?" (please) 😊

If LOVE πŸ’“REMAINS SUPREME, SO WILL YOUR MARRAIGEπŸ’“

      1. CHEATING ON YOUR PARTNER will certainly result

in a rapid trip to the

       DREADED DIVORCE!

      2.  YOU SEPERATE. If πŸ’“ is no longer or waning in your lives.😞 SEPERATION gives you time to RETHINK the WHOLE SITUATION.

      3. The SEPARATION (NOT BY CHOICE)

caused by external factors such as an

                            EMOTIONAL

                  "ANXIETY SYNDROME"

In my blog, www.henry-milette.blogspot.com, I discussed that they need to change the name, Anxiety Syndrome to the FEAR Syndrome.

A person who has it, FEARS, the one person, who is the most LOVED and IMPORTANT. No matter what that person does or how much loveπŸ’“ is in the picture, that person WILL ALWAYS BE FEARED!πŸ˜’

I AM LIVING WITH THIS PATICULAR CIRCUMSTANCE.

WERE SEPARATED FOR THE FIRST TIME IN OUR 60 HAPPILY MARRIED YEARSπŸ’• (plus seven months)

I WOULD MARRY HER, RIGHT NOW, IF I HAD A CHAPEAU, IF I DIDN'T HAVE ONE, SHE WOULD GLADLY LOAN ME ONE OF HERS, FROM HER COLLECTION πŸ˜‰

THERE'S HOPE FOR THE FUTURE AFTER HER COUNSELING AND RECOVERY, IN THE NEAR FUTURE(hopefully).πŸ˜€

WE COMMUNNICATE BY TEXT AND PHONE (several times every day).

THERE'S HOPE THAT WE SHALL RETURN

TO THE WORLD  THAT'S BEEN SO GOOD TO US.

WE BOTH HAVE HOPE and LOVE πŸ’“πŸ’“.

                       WE SHALL OVERCOMEπŸ˜‚

                   THE END OF THE ROAD

THE FINAL STEP IS DIVORSE. My πŸ’“ goes out to you.

            IT'S NOT AN EASY PROCESS.

              IT'S VERY  COMPLICATED

                                AND

                  HEART  RENDERING.

PAYBACK EMOTIONS πŸ’ž, IN THE BACK GROUND, LIES SORROW, HURT, ANGUISH and ANGER. (The most dangerous)πŸ˜
