                   DRUG vs SUPPLEMENTS

                                       ARE THEY THE SAME?

Before I enter into my discussion about the title of this blog, I would like to provide the reason for my deciding to post it.

Marcia has developed an Anxiety Syndrome a few months ago. She's undergoing counseling. Since this is our time to head for California for the winter, she's decided to stay in Alaska and finish her road to recovery.

The counselor suggested that we go to a hospital for Physical and Psychological evaluations.

This blog relates my opinion of what transpired at those evaluations.

There wasn't a hint of anything Psychological about the visit!

I was enthused about going for two reasons. The first was to please Marcia and eliminate the stress to her, if I declined. The other was that I developed inner ear positional Vertigo a month or so ago. I was curious to find out what the medical society could do for treating it. I had already purchased supplements for the treatment. They weren't working, a waste of money.

I am very fortunate to be healthier than most men in the 90 year old  bracket. I asked the doctor if she had seen many men, my age, in my healthy condition? She responded, "Not many!"

I had brought my tray of supplements that I take daily. I was quite anxious to see what her deaction would be. My thought was how excited I would be if the situation were reversed.

I got my answer in spades! She presented me with her appraisal of the meeting that we just had.

"Mr. Milette, You are taking too many of these pills!"  She pointed, with a finger making a circular motion, over my tray of supplements.

I was shocked! However, I understood the type of doctor with which I was dealing. She knew nothing about NUTRITION. The curse of so many doctors who treat the symptoms and fail to cure the cause.

Doctors call their drugs PILLS. We, who believe in NUTRITION, call ours SUPPLEMENTS, which aid in the proper treatment of the body's cellular structure.

I did however get an answer to my Vertigo problem. I had heard from a friend who had had Vertigo and used exercises to recover from it.

Here's the link for you to use to get the exercises that you need to cure yourself. I was amazed, I saw relef of my Vertigo after the second  day of doing the exercises twice a day.

It's called: Epley Maneuver at Home  for Vertigo: Exercises
